Bumthang

Bumthang is a beautiful valley in the north-central part of Bhutan that is surrounded by mountains and lush greenery of paddy fields. Regarded as the spiritual heartland of Bhutan the valley delivers serene vibes and a pleasant environment that attracts people from all over the world. Bumthang is home to some of the ancient monasteries and Buddhist temples that depict the rich history and cultural heritage of Bhutan. Agriculture is the main source of livelihood for the people of Bumthang due to which the place exhibits broad valleys full of rice fields along with snow-capped mountains with beautiful streams creating a picturesque landscape of Bumthang.
